A Joyous Farewell

-To the Left the incredible talent of the GCA faculty, beer and hot wings.

I am so very grateful for the training I received from my teacher Jacob Collins. For many years I have watched him fighting the good fight. To bring knowledge and respect for the Classical Tradition back into the light.

In my own way I would like to fallow in his footsteps and bring about knowledge and respect for the genre of Classical Painting known as "Narrative". I am leaving the GCA to start up "The Guild". " The Artisans Guild for Classical Narrative Painting" will open up in Brooklyn this fall.

And to my fellow GCA faculty, It has been such a pleasure, we have had so much fun together. I will miss the GCA so very much and wish you all great success.

-Below, never have I had the pleasure of working with such a talented, wonderful and mature group of people. East Coast Rules!

  3. Camie, I am so happy for you. But cant help to be sad to see you go. What are we going to do with no female influence in the faculty at GCA? Please promise to keep in touch. I have doubt your atelier will be a huge success!!!!

  4. Camie, my congratulations! You've been an administrator's dream & a cool lady to have around, I will miss you. I look forward to seeing more of your fascinating paintings & those of your students!
(Ahem--Angela...you & Colleen are female...and teaching at GCA; but I know what you mean. Camie leaves enormous shoes to fill. Metaphorically-speaking.) xo Justine
