Evening Figure Drawing at The Guild

We are up and running for our evening figure sessions at The Guild. Its night 3 of this months figure session and here are the stellar beginnings of Kevin, Rodney and Irvin's drawings, also my painting in progress. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful model, Victoria. The pose is beautiful.

Orion Painting

I've enlarged the drawing 400% and with much encouragement from my students, the Orion painting will be about nine feet in height. Very exciting.

Open House

Composition

As part of The Guild's Narrative program, we had Eric Stengel, Classical Architect, give a lecture on PHI and harmony in nature. These are some of his findings on The Golden Section and the human body. The human body often, so naturally, falls into harmony with nature because it too is PHI or "Nature".
